Police seek assistance to identify persons of interest in South Frontenac

Officers with the Frontenac detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) are seeking the public’s assistance to identify the occupants of a pickup truck that nearly struck an OPP officer.

According to police, the incident occurred on Saturday, Apr. 3, 2021, just after 2:30 a.m. when an officer was conducting a RIDE program on Road 38 near Wilton Road. An older model black pickup truck accelerated towards the officer, nearly striking him before fleeing the scene. The officer was uninjured.

Anyone with information that may be able to help identify the vehicle or the occupants of the vehicle is asked to call the Frontenac OPP detachment at 613-372-1932.
