OPP request assistance to identify Napanee shoplifting suspect

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has released the above photos and is asking for public assistance to identify the suspect pictured.

According to the OPP, the male pictured is believed to have been observed shoplifting meat produce from a grocery store on Centre Street in Napanee. Police responded to a call at that store at approximately 5 p.m. on Thursday, Nov. 12, 2020, but the suspect had fled on foot after being questioned by store employees.

The suspect is described as a Caucasian male, and he was wearing a teal hat, light blue shoes, a grey jacket with white sleeves, and black pants at the time of the incident.

Anyone who is able to identify the suspect is asked to contact the L&A OPP at 1-888-310-1122. Anyone wishing to remain anonymous can submit tips to Crime Stoppers at www.ontariocrimestoppers.com.
