The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) is currently investigating after an early morning home invasion in the Sandhurst Shores area of Loyalist Township.

According to the L&A OPP, four individuals forced their way into a residence on Elmwood Boulevard in Sandhurst Shores shortly after 3 a.m. today, Thursday, Mar. 21, 2024. One of the occupants of the residence was assaulted, “resulting in minor injuries,” police reported.

The OPP said that the four individuals then fled with “several items from the home.”

“The men are described only as wearing masks and there is no description of the vehicle they were in.”
