Get Shucked at Spearhead Brewing

Fancy a shuck? Well if you’re in the mood for oysters, Spearhead Brewing has got you covered every Tuesday evenings at Oyster Night from 4 p.m. to 7 p.m. As an added bonus, what better way to start the week than with a pint of craft beer and local Chef Eric Brennan shucking your oysters?
Brennan, the chef behind Otter Creek Farms Food Truck, is often joined by one of more of his friends from Kingston’s food scene, shucking fresh oysters while you watch. Past guest shuckers have included chefs from some of Kingston’s favourite kitchens, like Le Chien Noir, Capers Custom Catering, and Northside Espresso and kitchen. Right in the Spearhead taproom, Brennan will challenge his foodie colleagues to a shucking contest, yielding some awesome entertainment and, of course, incredible fresh oysters.
Mix in some lemon juice, mignonette, or Tabasco, and you are good to go. As a new addition to the west end foodie scene, Spearhead has friendly staff, a great selection on tap and a great vibe.
