Best Yoga Studio in Kingston

yoga poll
With the many changes that occur amongst the businesses in our downtown core, it’s always nice to see the places that are able to stick around year after year.  In a city the size of Kingston, you would think that shops offering similar products would eventually weed each other out, leaving one or two to reign supreme.  This phenomenon hasn’t seemed to affect yoga in the least.

With a major comeback in the last 5-10 years, yoga is as popular as ever and, thanks to those Kingstonians who like to stay flexible and at peace (a large majority of whom are students), we have a pretty notable plethora of studios in which to practice.  Some are large studios offering hot and cold rooms and numerous styles of yoga taught by a variety of teachers.  It’s also nice to see that the independent yogi is able to make a go of it, teaching in various locations like My Travelling Yogi or Yoga To Go.

I love yoga and as I’ve gotten better at it, I’ve begun practicing on my own at home.  There is something to be said for the energy that comes with a class full of people though, so I do still love to hit up a good hot yoga class every now and then.

This week’s poll asks:

Trying to name every studio in Kingston would be a challenge worthy of YGK Challenge status, so I know I’ve left out quite a few.  If your favourite didn’t make the list, please drop off a comment below and tell us where you like to go!  Namaste.

  • Lululemon on Sunday mornings during their complimentary 9:30am Yoga. It is offered by a different Studio each month so it is a great way to get to know the Studios in Kingston.
