#ygkChallenge: Share Your Summer Bucket List

ygkchallenge, bucket list, Kingston, OntarioThe #ygkchallenge is an ongoing series where we dare you to be different, resolve to be better, and or do something awesome in support of our beloved community. Each week, Kingstonist establishes a new, ambitious or quirky goal, encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone and do something great, and hopefully a little out of the ordinary. By taking part in this community-wide initiative, we hope to make Kingston (and the world) a slightly better place to live, work and play.

This week’s #ygkchallenge encourages you to:

Share Your Summer Bucket List!  School’s out for the Summer, and your vacation is either already underway or surely within reach. You’ve likely sketched out a few trips and local activities to make the most of your time off with friends and family.  With local attractions, festivals and staycations in mind, we want to know what you’ll be getting up in Kingston to over the next two months. Give us your best recommendations and help us build the ultimate #ygk Summer bucket list. Need a bit of inspiration to get the juices flowing? A shortlist of things on our bucket list include:

  • Dining on one of our favourite patios in the middle of the day during the “work week”
  • Snapping pictures of our besties putting the “i” in Kingston
  • Working up a sweat with the fam-jam on a walk/run/ride along Kingston’s trails/waterfront
  • Taking a late night ferry ride to catch a glimpse of the city aglow with shimmering lights

Now it’s your turn.  Tell us (with a comment below) what you’re aiming to cross off on your #ygk bucket list this summer.

Join us in completing this week’s #ygkchallenge by liking it on Facebook and/or re-Tweeting it on Twitter. By liking and sharing, you’re not only committing to doing something great, but you’re also helping us spread the word and hopefully encouraging others to participate.
