#ygkChallenge: Commuter Challenge
The #ygkChallenge is an ongoing series where we dare you to be different, resolve to be better, and or do something awesome in support of our beloved community. Each week, Kingstonist establishes a new, ambitious or quirky goal, encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone and do something great, and hopefully a little out of the ordinary. By taking part in this community-wide initiative, we hope to make Kingston (and the world) a slightly better place to live, work and play.
This week’s #ygkChallenge encourages you to:
Take the Commuter Challenge. Walk, cycle, take the bus, carpool, or work from home. Commuter Challenge (June 5 to June 11) is an event that encourages participants to leave their cars behind and find a more environmentally friendly way to get to and from work. Everyone who registers at commuterchallenge.ca and who logs at least one commute during that week will be automatically entered to win one of several great prizes! Kingston has placed first in its category in the national Commuter Challenge competition for the last four years! In 2016, we need all active commuters, both current and new, to once again defend our city title. More information about Commuter Challenge can be found at commuterchallenge.ca
