#ygkChallenge: Im-PAWS-ible Escapes Day for Kingston Humane Society
The #ygkchallenge is an ongoing series where we dare you to be different, resolve to be better, and or do something awesome in support of our beloved community. Each week, Kingstonist establishes a new, ambitious or quirky goal, encouraging you to step out of your comfort zone and do something great, and hopefully a little out of the ordinary. By taking part in this community-wide initiative, we hope to make Kingston (and the world) a slightly better place to live, work and play.
This week’s #ygkchallenge encourages you to:
Try to escape for The Humane Society. The Kingston Humane Society works hard to house stray, lost and surrendered animals and to find them a new forever home. The Kingston Humane Society is joining forces with Improbable Escapes to help raise funds for the KHS. On June 8th, Improbable Escapes will host “Im-PAWS-ible Escapes Day”, donating 50% of every game booked to the Kingston Humane Society. Melissa Eapen, co-founder and co-owner of Improbable Escapes, feels that “animals are just as much a part of the family as any other member and if we can make a difference then we should”. Improbable Escapes opened their doors June 2015 and have only seen increasing success. Their mission is to positively enhance experience with friends, family, and coworkers by creating entertainment in Kingston. Improbable Escapes has brought the escape room game experience to Kingston and have become experts in their industry. An escape room is a fast paced game where a team of people try to solve a challenge in one hour and escape the room. This week we challenge you to book your game now and help support The Kingston Humane Society.
Join us in completing this week’s #ygkchallenge by liking it on Facebook and/or re-Tweeting it on Twitter. By liking and sharing, you’re not only committing to doing something great, but you’re also helping us spread the word and hopefully encouraging others to participate.
