Juvenis 2019 Call for Project Leaders
Now accepting Project Submissions! Deadline to apply is November 30th at 10:00pm.

What are Projects?

Projects are a mix of arts events and productions that take place during our festival in and around Kingston, Ontario (from May 1-May 11, 2019). These can be anything from a theatre show, a concert, a film showcase, an art show, a fashion show, etc. All projects must be led by youth between the ages of 13-30. If you have an idea for an arts-based project, we want to hear it!!

They are offering funding for space, equipment rentals, general expenses, marketing support, and general administrative guidance to successful applicants!

How to Apply:

The deadline for Project Submissions is November 30, 2018 at 10:00pm.

There will be a short, casual interview process in the beginning of December.

Auditions for Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet)
Currently casting for their upcoming production of Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) — written by Ann-Marie MacDonald, and directed by Matthew Davis.

Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) a gender-bendy, big-hearted and crazily intelligent romp, where irony and anger sing in perfect harmony with innocence and poignancy.


Looking for five (5) actors for this production:

– 3 women (ages range from 18-50)

– 2 men (ages range from 18-50)


What – Goodnight Desdemona (Good Morning Juliet) auditions

Where – King’s Town Players’ Rehearsal Space (202-506 Days Road Kingston)

When – Auditions will be held Saturday, November 24th (1 pm-4 pm) and Sunday, November 24th (12 pm-2 pm). Call backs will be scheduled if required.

Rehearsals and Performance Details – Rehearsals will begin in December and will occur at the King’s Town Players Rehearsal Space (202-506 Days Road). The performance will run from January 23rd-February 2nd, 2019 at the Kingston Yacht Club, 1 Maitland Street, Kingston.

How to audition – Prepare to bring a classical comedic monologue, or to cold read selections from the script prepared by the director. Actors do not need to schedule a rehearsal time.

*Actors of any ethnicity or background are encouraged to audition for any role *
