Police investigating suspicious occurrence at children’s day camp

Kingston Police are still investigating an instance of suspicious activity that occurred at a day camp in mid-August, and are requesting that anyone with information come forward.
The incident involved a 10-year-old girl who was attending a day camp in the area of Palace and Bath Roads. At approximately 12 p.m. that day, a couple came to the day camp and requested to watch the girl dance in the concert. Not only did the couple spell the girl’s name incorrectly when asked to, the day camp didn’t have a concert scheduled.
The young girl was asked to take a look at the couple and, when she did, she didn’t recognize them, according to a press release from Kingston Police. The girl’s mother was notified, and she confirmed that the couple was not the girl’s grandparents, nor were they other family members or friends. The incident has left the girl’s family feeling uneasy.
The couple is described as being in their late 60s or early 70s. The man had white hair and glasses, and was wearing a blue dress shirt and khakis. The woman had short brown hair with grey streaks and was wearing a green shirt and slacks.
