Best Animal Hospital in Kingston

Best Animal Hospital in Kingston, Ontario, veterinariansIf you have a pet, you understand the need to find the best care possible, and more importantly, someone you can trust when your little furry friend is in need of medical attention. It’s difficult and often frustrating finding the right vet. Much like finding the right mechanic or hair stylist, you want to feel safe in knowing that you are getting as much as you need and only what you need. A truly great animal hospital shouldn’t make you feel like they’re selling you your pet’s health and they shouldn’t be suggesting unnecessary and often very expensive treatments. A quick look at yellow pages will yield a long list of local vets, but which is the best animal hospital in Kingston?

Harvey and I have been using the same vet for our cat since we adopted him 10 years ago. Thankfully, we haven’t had any major issues with his health (knock on wood) and have only had to visit a handful of times for vaccinations and routine check ups. We don’t feel particularly attached to our vet, but we also don’t see much reason to change either. A close friend recently went through a major ordeal with her dog and after many trials and tribulations, she and her husband actually found themselves traveling an hour out of town for the care they needed at a price they could afford. This doesn’t seem right, so this week we want the input of all you pet owners out there to help identify the best animal hospital in Kingston.

Had good experience at Kingston Veterinary Clinic (Division at Stephen).

Would not recommend Lakeshore – Nice people, but unless you want constant phone calls and enormous treatment plans.. !

I agree with Sims, one of the best. Remember her from when she worked at Kingston mills vet at montreal street and 401 almost 20 years ago. I still use and like Kingston mills very much, but if i ever had to switch it would be to Sims.
