Bodwin (Beau) van Doorninck, born on July 23, 1949, in the Netherlands, passed away on January 16, 2024, in Harrowsmith, Ontario.

Predeceased by his parents, Elisabeth and Huibert van Doorninck, Beau is survived by his sisters Maryke Zuber (Ralph) and Joziene McCubbin (Alex). He was a loving brother and a cherished member of his family.

Beau dedicated many years of his life to driving for Purolator, where he formed lasting friendships and touched the lives of many through his dedicated service. He was known for his reliability, professionalism, and friendly demeanour.

Beyond his career, Beau found joy in the simple pleasures of life. He had a profound love for animals, particularly his beloved dogs, who were constant companions on his journey. Beau found solace and contentment in the tranquility of country life on the farm, surrounded by nature’s beauty.

A man of quiet strength and unwavering kindness, Beau cherished his solitude and enjoyed the peace of his own company. His gentle soul and caring nature endeared him to all who knew him, leaving a lasting impression on everyone he encountered.

In honouring Beau’s memory, let us remember his quiet strength, his love for animals, and his appreciation for the beauty of life’s simplest moments. Though he may no longer be with us in person, Beau’s spirit will live on in the hearts of those who were fortunate enough to know him.
