Obituary of Jose Eduardo Da Costa

With sadness and warm memories we announce the passing of our father, Jose Eduardo Da Costa (Joe). Passed peacefully with his family by his side and surrounded by their love at the Providence Care Hospital Palliative Unit in Kingston, ON on Saturday, September 23, 2023.

Jose was born in Lagoa, Azores, Portugal to Jose Joaquim and Alzira do Espirito Santo (Ferreira) Da Costa.

Husband of Julietta (Costa). Father of Julie Teixeira (Joshua) and Elizabeth Mulder (Terry). Proud Grandfather of Lucas and Skyler Mulder. Dear brother of the late Berta Costa Sousa.

Forever remembered for his hard work, independence and humour. Deeply missed and will never be forgotten!

Family and friends may pay their respects by attending a Liturgy of the Word service on Friday September 29, 2023 at 1:00pm in the Chapel at James Reid Funeral Home (1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston, ON), with a reception to follow.

In Lieu of flowers donations can be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or UHKF.
