Geoffrey (Jeff) Parisi

It is with heavy hearts that the family of Geoffrey (Jeff) Victor Parisi announce his sudden passing. Jeff leaves behind his children Sarah (Roberto), David, Alison (Jesse), and James (Victoria). He is survived by his brothers Mark, Grant, and Joe, and his step-mother Inez. He will be dearly missed by his seven grandchildren Jack, Matthew, Adele, Benjamin, Emma, Oliver, and Vienna. Jeff worked for decades in the insurance industry before retirement and continued to enjoy giving advice on this topic when asked. His greatest joy and source of pride was his family. He enjoyed going to his grandchildren’s track meets, hockey, soccer, basketball, and baseball games. His children recall fondly the many summer and winter trips they spent on the beaches, mountains, and ski hills of the east coast of the USA. Jeff’s other great love was the game of golf. He continued to play until his final days, and he forged a lifetime of friendships walking those eighteen holes and over drinks during the inevitable post game analysis. 

A Celebration of Jeff’s Life will be held on Sunday, April 23, 2023 from 12:00 – 2:00 pm in the Celebration Centre of the James Reid Funeral Home (entering from the rear parking lot doors). In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the University Hospitals Kingston Foundation – Jeff always spoke highly of the care he received there over the years.
