John passed away at Fairmont Home on Friday, September 29, 2023, at the age of 90. John beloved husband of Thora. Extraordinary father to John Jr. and his wife Maria and Stephen and his wife Lisa. Loving grandfather of Josh and his wife Diana, Kristen, Kayla and Lindsey and her husband Dexter O’Neil.

John’s family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., Kingston on Thursday, October 5, 2023, from 12:00 – 12:50 pm, followed by a service in the chapel at 1:00 pm. John will be laid to rest at the Sandhill Cemetery, Battersea at the conclusion of the service. Donations in John’s memory may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society for those who wish to do so.
