Obituary for Douglas Gerrond
Peacefully at Kingston General Hospital in his 95th year, Douglas Keith Gerrond passed away. Husband to the late Elaine Gerrond (nee Freeman), father of Bruce and Glenna Gerrond. He will be sadly missed by his granddaughters Jenny, Sharon, Alicia and Emma, great-grandchildren Gage, Bryce, Owen, Braxton and Abby.
The family will receive friends at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd. on Tuesday, October 3, 2023 from 1:00 pm to 1:50 pm. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel at 2:00 pm, with interment at Christ Church Cemetery to follow. Donations in Douglas’ memory to Scouts Canada or the Alzheimer’s Society would be appreciated by his family.
