Obituary for Donald Hart

Hart; Donald Russell “Don” – Passed away peacefully at Bayshore Unit at The Windsor on Monday, August 14, 2023 at the age of 91. He was the beloved husband to Colleen (nee Falls) for over 62 years. He is the dear father to James (Nathalie) and Mary Prytulka (John) and late son Sean Hart. He is the loving grandfather of Yannick, Jessica, Keith, Brittany and Zoe. Don was predeceased by his parents Russell and Elsie Hart (nee Baker) and his brothers Beverley and Kenneth. He will be missed by extended family and friends.

Don was a long-standing Rotarian and member of the LaSalle Seniors Band. He loved watching the Blue Jays and spending time with his family and friends. Don was a fun-loving gentleman who always had a smile on his face and a twinkle in his eyes.

There will be a public visitation at James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd on Tuesday, August 22, 2023 from 2:00 – 4:00 pm. Don will be laid to rest in a private family inurnment at Cataraqui Cemetery. Memorial donations can be made to St. Andrew’s by-the-Lake United Church.
