“A very special and kind man”
Milton passed away on Tuesday, September 12, 2023, at the Kingston General Hospital in Kingston at the age of 82. Milton was predeceased by his loving wife Doreen (Barker), his dear parents Frances and Everett Woodman and his brother Donald. He is survived by his loving sister Deanne Robinson (the late Bob Robinson), cousin Murray Halladay, and stepsons Ron and John Barker. He will be sadly missed by his best friend Dick Vande Slius, friends Pat and Lori and very special friends John and Norma Lambert and their family.
Milton was a long-time member of the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 623 in Bath. He loved a great deal and was known to attend many auctions and could be seen every weekend at the local yard sales bartering for all his finds. He loved spending time with his family and friends, he will be missed by all who had the privilege of knowing him.
A special thank you is extended to the Heaven-sent doctors and nurses on Connell 3 at KGH for the kind and compassionate care that Milton received.
In keeping with Milton’s wishes cremation has taken place. A graveside service will be held at the Cataraqui Cemetery on Friday, September 15, 2023, at 2:00 pm followed by a celebration and reception at the James Reid Funeral Home. All those who knew Milton are welcome to attend and are kindly asked to meet at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd., by 1:45 pm to travel in procession to the graveside ceremony.
