In Loving Memory of Ingbert Josef Huber

INGBERT JOSEF HUBER

JANUARY 30, 1937 – DECEMBER 3, 2023

After a brief illness, Ingbert Josef Huber passed peacefully at Kingston Health Sciences Center surrounded by his family on December 3, 2023. Ingbert was born in Germany January 30, 1937. He came to Canada in 1956. He met the love of his life Rosemarie in Brockville, Ontario in the early 1960’s. They were married 47 years and raised three children in the Kingston area.

Ingbert was an accomplished stone mason and left his mark on most of Kingston’s famous and infamous buildings.  Ingbert was recognized by the Kingston Historical Society for his work in preserving those buildings in 2003.

Ingbert was an avid fisherman and sports fan especially soccer and hockey.

Ingbert is survived by his children Theodore, Nicole (Wayne), Daniel (Lori) and his beloved grandchildren Hayden and Hillary.

Ingbert is predeceased by his wife of 47 years Rosemarie; his parents Josef and Margareta.

He also leaves behind his sister Irma and many nephews, nieces, great nephews, and great nieces both in Canada and Germany.

In keeping with Ingbert’s wishes cremation has taken place. Arrangement entrusted to the James Reid Funeral Home, Kingston.
