In Loving Memory of Edward Francis

Edward Francis (May 10, 1930 – November 15, 2023) 

It is with heavy hearts we mourn the loss of Edward Francis, a cherished husband, devoted father, and loving grandfather, who passed away peacefully at the age of 93 at KGH.

Edward, a retired longtime employee of DuPont, leaves behind a legacy of dedication and commitment. He was the beloved husband of Florence for 67 years, a caring father to Jeff and his wife Tracey, and a source of wisdom and joy to his grandsons Nick and Steven (Rachel). His memory will forever be held dear by his sister June Rolfe and a host of extended family and friends.

We extend heartfelt gratitude to Lilia Welch, a steadfast friend whose kindness enriched Edward and Florence’s lives for the past seven years.

In accordance with Edward’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and a private family service will be held to honor his life. For those inclined, donations in Edward’s memory may be made to St. Paul’s Anglican Church, 137 Queen St., Kingston.

May Edward’s soul rest in eternal peace, and may his family find solace in the cherished memories they shared.
