In Loving Memory of Betty Badour

Betty Elizabeth Badour passed away suddenly after a brief illness on June 26, 2024. She was born in Belleville, ON by parents, Percy Rodgers and May Rodgers (nee Rockwell). Survived by loving partner, Chuck Lowerly and son, Charlie Badour (Christine). Beloved sister of Brian Rodgers, Terry Rodgers, Steven Rodgers, Dawn Rodgers, Wendy, and Cindy Rogers. Loving aunt of many. She loved her entire family, despite their quirks and dysfunction. She worried about them, rooted for them, forgave them and always kept on loving them. She was a good and dear friend to Grace Wilson, spending many years laughing and enjoying each other’s company. Toby, her fur baby will miss her dearly. Betty was predeceased by husband, Maynard Badour; son, Barry Badour; and siblings, Sharon Clarke (nee Rodgers), Tony Rodgers, Debbie Rodgers, and Timmy Rodgers.

Betty will be desperately missed by all those that she’s left behind. Our hearts are so broken by this unexpected loss.

The family would like to thank all the staff that helped her at Providence Care and especially the staff that worked the ICU at KGH on June 25th. They were full of compassion and as hard as it was, made the transition easier for both the family and Betty.

There will be a Celebration of Life for Betty Badour on Saturday, July 13, 2024 from 2pm to 4pm at Polson Park Methodist Church, 5 Miles Ave, Kingston ON. Please wear something blue to honour Betty’s favourite colour.
