Kenneth Floyd Allen passed away suddenly in his 88th year on Tuesday, March 5, 2024 at Kingston General Hospital with his family by his side.

Ken is survived by Betty, his loving wife of 62 years, their son Michael (Linda), his sisters Beverly (Chris) and Sherry (John) as well as his many nieces and nephews and their children.  Predeceased by his siblings Onie (McMullen), Garnet, Robert, and Joyce (O’Connor).

His family and friends will miss his stories and great sense of humour, but mostly we will all miss being in his company.

Betty and Michael would especially like to thank the citizens who immediately rushed to his aid, Dr. Gemmill, the EMT responders, and the ER Doctors and nurses at Kingston General Hospital.

Family and friends are invited to celebrate Ken’s life at the James Reid Funeral Home, 1900 John Counter Blvd, Kingston. on Saturday, March 16 2024.  Visitation 11:00 and Service at 12:00 with luncheon to follow.  In lieu of flowers, donations in Ken’s memory can be made to The Hospital for Sick Children Toronto or The University Hospitals Kingston Foundation (KGH).
