It was another busy weekend for the Queen’s Golden Gaels, with five teams bringing home wins and one female basketball star reaching a new career milestone.

 

MEN’S VOLLEYBALL – Gaels tackle Toronto, take down Ryerson in straight sets to claim first place in OUA East

KINGSTON, Ont. (January 27, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (10-3) swept the Ryerson Rams (9-4) in a three-set home game. The scores of each set were 25-23, 25-23 and 25-20.

WOMEN’S BASKETBALL – Alarie reaches 1,000 career points in win over Laurentian, Gaels sweep home weekend

KINGSTON, Ont. (January 26, 2019) – The Queen’s Women’s Basketball Team (11-7) defeated the Laurentian Voyageurs (6-12) 72 to 46 on Saturday night at the ARC – Main Gym.

WOMEN’S VOLLEYBALL – Livingston and Corrigan lead the way in upset of No.8 Toronto in Bell Let’s Talk Game

KINGSTON, Ont. (January 26, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (7-5) were victorious in a five-set home game against the No.8 Toronto Varsity Blues (8-4). The scores of each set were 25-21,20-25, 21-25, 25-23 and 15-9.

MEN’S HOCKEY – Gaels prevail in the shootout on Bell Let’s Talk night, pick up two wins after three games in four nights

KINGSTON, Ont. (January 25, 2019) – The No.9 Queen’s Gaels (17-7-0) needed the shootout but were able to pick up an important two points with a 4-3 win over the Concordia Stingers (14-8-2).

KINGSTON, Ont. (January 25th, 2019) – The Queen’s Men’s Basketball Team (9-8) defeated the Nipissing Lakers (2-15) 84-75 on Friday night at the ARC Main Gym.

WOMEN’S HOCKEY – DeBruin scores lone goal as Gaels fall to Gryphons, game vs York postponed due to power outage

GUELPH, Ont. (January 27, 2019) – The Queen’s Gaels (11-8-0) fell to the Guelph Gryphons (14-2-1) by a score of 4-1 in Sunday afternoon OUA Women’s hockey action.
