Woman facing charges after OPP respond to disturbance in Picton

Members of the Prince Edward County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a disturbance on Friday, Jan. 8, 2021 just after 10 p.m. at a Richmond Street address in Picton, according to a release from OPP dated Monday, Jan. 11, 2021.
OPP say officers arrived and conducted a further investigation. As a result, police discovered that a party was in possession of prohibited weapons.
Racheal Meehan, age 29 of Picton, was charged with four counts of possession of a prohibited device or ammunition.
The accused was released on an appearance notice and is to appear before the Ontario Court of Justice in Picton in February 2021.
