Winter weather travel advisory for Kingston area

Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory for Kingston, Odessa, Frontenac Islands, Napanee, Consecon, Picton, Sandbanks Park.

A cold front is crossing Eastern Ontario this morning. Suddenly reduced visibilities in heavy snow and blowing snow is expected to continue as the cold front passes through. Total snowfall accumulations of up to 5 cm are possible by the time the snow ends late this morning.

Travel has become hazardous as roads have become snow covered and icy throughout the area.
