Our second Victoria Day long weekend during the pandemic is here. Temperatures are looking good for our quieter celebrations at home, and Kingston and area residents are reminded that the provincial Stay-At-Home order has been extended into June.
But that doesn’t mean we can’t still enjoy the holiday long weekend at home! Plan a virtual cocktail hour with your friends, enjoy a meal outdoors with those you live with, or even take the weekend for the extra R&R so many of us could use right now. We can all celebrate our health and happiness at home while keeping ourselves, our neighbours, and essential workers safe and healthy, too!
Don’t forget that City requires Kingston residents to register for a burn permit if outdoor fires are planned, and there are no Victoria Day festivities planned by the City this year, due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
