Frost Advisory issued for areas north of Kingston

Environment Canada has issued a Frost Advisory for some areas north of Kingston, including Tamworth, Sydenham, South Frontenac, Plevna, and Sharbot Lake.

“Frost may damage some crops in frost-prone areas,” said the national weather service in an advisory on Tuesday, Sept. 28, 2021.

“Frost is expected tonight as temperatures fall to near zero degrees Celsius,” the advisory continued. “Take preventative measures to protect frost-sensitive plants and trees.”
