Freezing rain warning for Kingston and area

Environment Canada has issued a Freezing Rain Warning for Kingston, Odessa, Frontenac Islands, Napanee, Consecon, Picton and Sandbanks Park.
Periods of snow are expected with a risk of freezing rain late this afternoon. Snowfall amount is expected to be 5 cm, with wind from the northeast at 20km/h and gusting to 40km/h. Temperature will remain steady near zero.
As such, all school busing for the day has been cancelled in the area.
On Wednesday night, periods of freezing rain or rain are expected, changing to rain near midnight and then to snow before morning. Temperatures are expected to rise to plus 3 by morning.
On Thursday, periods of snow are expected, with local blowing snow in the afternoon. About 5cm of snow are expected. Sustained winds of 20km/h and gusting to 40km/h will increase to 40 gusting to 60 in the afternoon. Temperatures are expected to fall to minus 4 in the afternoon, with a wind chill of minus 14 in the afternoon.
