Environment Canada issues winter weather travel advisory for Kingston area

Environment Canada has issued a Winter Weather Travel Advisory, which is in effect for this morning, Wednesday, Dec. 2, 2020.

The advisory is in effect for the Kingston and Prince Edward areas, and was issued at 6:27 a.m.

“A band of heavy snow has developed over the region and will move east this morning. Quick accumulations of 2 to 4 cm of snow may occur within the next couple of hours,” Environment Canada said.

“Untreated roads may become icy or slippery. Motorists are advised to exercise caution.”
