Wanted federal offender known to frequent Kingston, Toronto

The Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) Repeat Offender Parole Enforcement (ROPE) Squad has released the above image and is requesting the public’s assistance in locating a federal offender wanted on a Canada Wide Warrant as a result of a breach of his Long Term Supervision Order.

According to a release from the OPP, Simon Gares is described as a Caucasian male, 41 years of age, 5’10” (178 cm), 177 lbs (80 kgs) with brown hair and hazel eyes. He is currently serving a 7-year Long Term Supervision Order as a result of a conviction for assault causing bodily harm.

Gares is known to frequent the Kingston and Toronto areas of Ontario, according to the release.
