View the decorated homes in South Frontenac’s Holiday Lights Contest

The Township of South Frontenac has released the list of address of households who are participating in their South Frontenac Shines Holiday Lights contest. In early November the Township encouraged residents to decorate their yards and houses for the holiday season.

During the evenings of December 11th, 12th and 13th, the judges will tour around the Township and evaluate the entries. There are three categories: the Winter Wonderland Award – best overall theme, the Clark Griswold Award – over the top decorations, and the Elf’s Choice Award, which will be awarded to the house with the most ‘likes’ on the Township’s Facebook page.

The winning houses in each category will be announced on Friday Dec. 18, 2020 and each will win a $75 gift certificate to a local business of their choosing, according to the Township of South Frontenac website.

South Frontenac is encouraging families in the area to visit the participating houses as a safe and socially distanced holiday activity until December 26th.
