Vehicles damaged, no injuries as large tree falls on Bagot Street

Strong winds overnight brought down a large and partially rotted tree on Bagot Street on the morning of Saturday, June 3, 2023.

Kingston Fire & Rescue and Kingston Police responded to the Bagot Street area between Earl Street and Brock Street at approximately 6 A.M.

According to eyewitnesses, two vehicles were heavily damaged by the falling tree but there were no injuries in the incident.

Kingston Police maintained a closure of the area on Saturday morning as City of Kingston crews removed the tree.
