Vehicle collides with garage in Greater Napanee

A single-vehicle collision on Palace Road in Napanee resulted in charges, but no injuries, for a Napanee driver.

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to a report of a single motor vehicle collision on Palace Road in Greater Napanee at approximately 7:30 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 12, 2021.

A vehicle was travelling eastbound on Palace Road when the driver lost control and collided with a garage, according to a release from the OPP.  The vehicle came to rest inside a garage at a residence on Palace Road. OPP said the driver was taken to hospital by paramedics and later released. No one was injured in the collision.

The 61-year-old driver from Greater Napanee has been charged with careless driving contrary to the Highway Traffic Act.
