Update: Missing youth in Kingston’s west end has been located

On the early morning hours of Friday. May 6, 2022, Kingston Police and the family have confirmed through social media posts that Jadyn Barry (or Eckford), 14, of Kingston has been located safely. All previous posts have been deleted to prevent confusion.

Kingston Police are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a missing youth in the area of Glen Castle Road and Ashley Crescent in the city’s west end.
According to Kingston Police, Jadyn Barry, 14 years of age, was last seen at his west end residence at approximately 7:30p.m. on the evening of May 5th.
He is described as a Caucasian male, olive complexion, 5’4”, 98 pounds, with shaggy dark brown hair and brown eyes. He was last seen wearing a black hoodie and black splash pants with red stripes. He may be potentially carrying a basketball with him as well.
Officers are currently conducting ground searches in and around the area and ask if anyone has information on Jadyn’s whereabouts to call Kingston Police at 613-549-4660.
