Two women arrested on drug trafficking, weapons charges

Kingston Police have arrested two local women for selling cocaine and fentanyl. According to police, the arrest concluded an ongoing investigation by the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit into the women’s activities.

Police say the women were arrested at 4:18 p.m. on Friday, Sep. 11, 2020, in a vehicle on Concession Street. A search of the vehicle revealed 339 grams of cocaine, 59.3 grams of fentanyl, 59 hydromorphone pills, a conducted energy weapon, and approximately $10,000 in Canadian currency. The total street value of the drugs is approximately $60,000.

Heather Bell, a 51-year-old local woman, was charged with drug trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, and weapons possession.

Erica Vance, a 30-year-old local woman, was also charged with drug trafficking, possession of proceeds of crime, and weapons possession.
