Two males charged after execution of warrant

On Thursday, Jul. 16, 2020, members of the Kingston Police Drug Enforcement Unit secured a Section 11 Controlled Drugs and Substances Act Search Warrant for the residence located on Parkington Place in the City of Kingston.

At 4:04 p.m. on this same date, members of the Kingston Police Emergency Response Unit executed the search warrant and made entry through the front door of the residence. Inside the residence, a 44 year old local male, Colin Morrison, and a 34 year old local male, Jeff Gummersell, were located and arrested.

Police located a shot gun, a quantity of fentanyl and various drug trafficking paraphernalia inside the residence. Both males were charged with drug possession and possession of firearms.
