After executing a search warrant at an address in South Frontenac Township, the East Region Community Street Crime Unit (CSCU) of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) arrested and charged two individuals.

Just after 8 a.m. on Thursday, Jul. 21, 2022, CSCU members, along with OPP Emergency Response Team (ERT) members and OPP Canine Unit, executed the search warrant at an address on Ormsbee Road in Battersea. According to the OPP, stolen property was recovered at the scene.

As a result, Brandy Rogerson, 48 years old, and Luc Serre, 50 years old, both of South Frontenac Township, were arrested and charged with:

  • Possession of property obtained by crime over $5,000

Following inquiries from the Kingstonist, the OPP were not able to expand on what either of the two people are accused of stealing, as “the property seized is evidence at this time before the courts, so we are not able to release that information,” according to Provincial Constable Brianna Raison, Community Safety/Media Relations Officer for Lennox and Addington OPP.

The OPP said that both accused were released from custody and are scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee in September 2022.
