For the past 24 years, Timeless Memories Wedding & Event Planning has supported countless happy couples as they prepare for their big day. From venues, catering, and décor, to exhibitor coordination and scheduling for the big day, Timeless Memories will help organize your needs make sure all details are correct and in order.
To learn more about vendors in the wedding industry, or for those looking to prepare for their big day, Timeless Memories is hosting a Wedding Show in the new year, with dozens of local vendors to help you plan the perfect ceremony and reception. Taking place at St. Lawrence College (SLC) on Sunday, Feb. 20, 2022, the 18th annual show provides a one-stop-shop for all your wedding needs.
“We started the wedding show back in 1999 with seven exhibitors at the Peach Tree Inn,” said Virginia Charboneau, owner of Timeless Memories Wedding & Event Planning. “Since then, we have grown in number of guests and to 60+ exhibitors, and needed to expand our venue — SLC was the perfect spot. It has been a lot of fun to see the growth over the years!”
Out of the seven original exhibitors, five continue to participate in the annual event, Charboneau shared. So far, just under 30 vendors or businesses are on board for the January show.
“We love working with so many great businesses in town,” expressed Charboneau. “It helps all of us expand our client bases and support each other during the good and bad times. We also work together to build packages and offer more to our clients, which is beneficial for everyone!”
Charboneau said that show attendees can expect to speak to experts in the fields of venues, DJs, limo and bus rentals, wedding and event rentals, wedding/event planning, catering, wedding dresses and suits, photography, entertainment/music, make-up and hair, florists, officiants, invitations/graphic design, hotels, fitness, and more.
“We only bring the best exhibitors in the industry who really know their stuff,” she continued. “There are also prizes to be won!”
Wedding couples are invited to preregister for the Kingston Wedding Show on the Timeless Memories website. There’s no fee to attend the Wedding Show, and those who pre-register will receive a ticket to enter the grand prize draw. “They also don’t have to wait in the registration line, which can be very long! In the middle of January, that’s not a line you want to wait in,” Charboneau said with a laugh.
The event will follow all current COVID-19 regulations, including requiring proof of vaccination to attend. Masking, dividers and space between booths, as well as social distancing measures, will be in place.
