Three men charged in Kingston in relation to the possession of over 2kg of crystal meth

Kingston Police assisted the Ottawa Police Drug Unit in arresting and charging three men related to possessing over 2kg of crystal methamphetamine.

The three men were arrested in the Kingston area on the evening of Tuesday, Oct. 9, 2018, and police seized a number of items including: crystal methamphetamine, Dilaudid (hydromorphone), a digital scale, and over $5,000 in Canadian currency.

Jacques Trudel, 61, of Limoges, Ont. has been charged with:

  • Two counts of possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000

Christopher Francoeur, 43, of Limoges, Ont. has been charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking

Guy Trudel, 50, of Ottawa, Ont., has been charged with:

  • Possession of a schedule 1 substance for the purpose of trafficking
  • Possession of the proceeds of crime over $5,000
