Things to do in Kingston this long weekend

So you’ve opted to avoid the headaches of travel and decided to enjoy Victoria Day long weekend in Kingston. Good on you, because there are plenty of things to do, right here at home!

Also, the city of Kingston’s splash pads open this weekend! Fireworks! On Sunday, May 20th, at around 9:30 p.m. the city of Kingston will be holding a fireworks show at Lake Ontario Park to celebrate the holiday. Make your way to the park way before then, though, as festivities begin at 1 p.m. with activities and fun for the whole family. Enjoy a bubble show with Miss T the Bubble Queen, a K-9 demonstration by Kingston Police, exciting inflatables and much more! In the evening, enjoy the live music lineup down by the water featuring Hotel California who will be recreating the legendary sound of the Eagles.

Lastly, what is a Victoria Day Weekend without a little tip of the hat to the royal family? Grab your fascinator and your finest footwear for the biggest Royal Wedding viewing party in the city!
