One of the most unique annual events in the city is set to bring a flurry of people and energy to downtown Kingston as organizers prepare the finishing touches for this year’s Taylor Hall Charity Ball Hockey Tournament.

In support of the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston and Area, the sixth annual Taylor Hall Charity Ball Hockey Tournament will once again bring together over 100 ball hockey players from the community and local business, while also hosting over 50 professional hockey players – including, of course, 2018 NHL Hart Trophy winner, Taylor Hall. Professional hockey players from the NHL, AHL, OHL, Euro Leagues and more will also include: Bryan Allen, John Trip, Warren Foegele, Mike McLeod, Alyn McCauley, Calvin DeHaan, Jay McClement, Aaron Luchuk, Mathan Bastian, Jay McKee, Dalton Prout, and more.

The event will also include a community street party with a variety of free activities for those of all ages. Princess Street will be closed between Division and Barrie Streets for the street party, with the actual tournament taking place in the Metro parking lot at 310 Barrie Street.

Although born in Calgary, Hall often refers to Kingston as his hometown, and spent a lot of time at the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston and Area. Over the past five years, the Taylor Hall Charity Ball Hockey Tournament has raised around $20,000 each year, at times raising over $30,000 in the single day-long event. The event is organized and sponsored by The Hub Group, Petrie For, and Jeff Easton of Re/Max Finest Realty.

Get down to The Hub on Saturday, Jul. 20, 2019 to take in some great ball hockey, and join in the festivities, all in support of the Boys and Girls Club of Kingston. The tournament will kick off at 10 a.m.
