Taking a Stand

Capitol building, Vision for Kingston, OMB, Frontenac Heritage Foundation Kingston, OntarioA year ago, a protest against the proposed Princess Street high-rise was dismissed as “…frivolous…. a few old ladies handing out pamphlets…..”

Over the last week, local media and online correspondence both dismissed and applauded those (women) prepared to take a stand.

My point in this cartoon? Don’t EVER under-estimate the women of Kingston!
