OPP charge Sydenham man with break and enter

The Frontenac Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) have charged a man with break and enter in Sydenham.

Shortly after 12 a.m., on Tuesday Aug. 18, 2020 the OPP Frontenac Detachment were advised of a person attempting to gain entry to a property through a window screen.

According to the OPP, an individual was located by officers up the road from the scene who matched the description. Further investigation revealed that the individual had been captured on video footage at the location.

David Kenneth Snyder, age 27, from Sydenham has been charged with the following:

  • Trespassing at night
  • Break, enter a place – with intent to commit indictable offense

Snyder was released and is to appear in the Ontario Court of Justice in Kingston in early January 2021.
