Suspects at large following pellet gun shooting at downtown McDonald’s

Kingston Police are continuing to investigate after a man was shot in the eye with a pellet gun outside the McDonald’s restaurant in downtown Kingston.

The incident occurred at approximately 12:15 a.m. on Wednesday, Dec. 4, 2019, when a 28-year-old male was shot in the small alley space beside the Princess Street fast food restaurant. The victim was struck by the shot in the top portion of one eye, and taken to Kingston General Hospital (KGH).

Police are now looking for two possible suspects, both of whom are male, and going over surveillance video footage. It is unknown whether or not the victim and the suspect(s) were known to one another prior to the incident. Anyone with information on this incident is asked to call Kingston Police at 613-549-4660.
