Kingston Police have identified and arrested the suspect that was wanted for stealing from a vehicle and subsequently using a stolen debit card.

On Friday, Oct. 12, 2018, police released photos of the suspect, who stole a wallet from a car on Van Order Drive on Sunday, Sept. 16. As a result, the suspect has been identified, according to a press release from Kingston Police.

Police also determined the man was the same individual arrested on Saturday, Sept. 22 after stealing from a car trunk.

The accused man, who is currently in custody at a local detention centre, will be charged with theft and use of a stolen credit card in relation to the former incident. As a result of linking the accused to both incidents, he will also be charged with five counts of possession of stolen property.
