Survey: Communication and Engagement

City of Kingston, survey, Kingston, OntarioThe City of Kingston wants to hear from you.  A new survey has been created by the City of Kingston examining engagement and communication between City Hall and Kingstonians.  The aim of the survey is to gain insight into the efficacy of the City’s current communication practices and to find out how those of us who and live and work here get our news and other information about ygk.  Ultimately, City Hall wants to know how best to engage with you.

The survey focuses on local radio, television and print/online news (there is one particular website missing from the list though…) and also asks questions about social media such as Facebook and Twitter.  Taking only about 5 minutes to check a few boxes and make comments if you wish, the survey is quick and easy to navigate.  Those who take time to respond also have the option of entering a draw to win either a suite of wireless accessories for your computer (valued at more than $500) or a tablet (valued at $300).  As with any survey the City puts out, all answers are confidential.

Being an online resource for Kingstonians, we’re also curious to know how you feel about the City of Kingston’s communication skills.  Where do you go most often to find out what is happening in ygk?  Do you use the City’s website as a resource or is social media your go-to?  Take a few minutes to fill out the survey (which ends April 27th) and drop off a comment below to give us your thoughts.
