Stone Mills driver facing charges after OPP respond to vehicle in ditch

The Lennox and Addington (L&A) County Detachment of the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) has charged a driver with impaired driving after responding to a report of a vehicle in the ditch on County Road 4.

According to a release from the OPP, on Friday, Mar. 17, 2023, just after 7 p.m., officers were dispatched to the reported vehicle on County Road 4 in Stone Mills Township. Officers arrived at the scene and spoke to the driver, who was subsequently arrested and transported to the detachment for further testing.

Jennifer Clark, 40 years old, of Stone Mills Township, Ontario, was charged with:

  • Operating a motor vehicle while impaired – alcohol and drugs
  • Operating a motor vehicle while impaired – blood alcohol concentration of over 80 mg of alcohol per 100 ml of blood

Clark was released from custody and is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Greater Napanee in April 2023. Their licence was suspended for 90 days, and the vehicle was impounded for seven days. Clark will be responsible for all related fees and fines.
