St. Lawrence College student tests positive for COVID-19

St. Lawrence College (SLC) has confirmed that a student in a program running on the Kingston campus has tested positive for COVID-19.

“In order to respect the privacy and maintain confidentiality of the student’s medical information, SLC can only confirm they were last on the Kingston campus the week of November 2,” said a statement from the institution. “Their contraction of COVID-19 is being followed-up on by Public Health.”

SLC said they are following established protocols and working closely with Kingston, Frontenac and Lennox & Addington (KFL&A) Public Health. Individuals who have been in close contact with the affected person and are deemed at risk are being notified directly by KFL&A Public Health.
