Kingston Gymnastics Club athletes bring home 17 All Around medals

This past weekend was certainly an eventful one for the gymnasts with Kingston Gymnastics Club, who brought home a whopping 17 All Around medals from their final invitational/qualifier of the year.

The gymnasts travelled to Orangeville, Ont. for the weekend of April 27-28, 2019, and earned seven Gold All Around medals, five Silver All Around medals, and five Bronze All Around medals. The gymnasts with top All Around scores from this year will qualify for Ontario Championships in June.

Gymnasts finishing First All Around in their category include: Gala Baranchuk, Taylor Reed, Jillian Bates, Analyse Chabot, Kaitlyn Egerton, Emilie Wartman, and Charlotte Wilson.

• Gala Baranchuk, Level 4 Age 14, placed First All Around with Gold on Bars and Beam, Silver on Vault, and Bronze on Floor.
• Taylor Reed, Level 4 Age 9, placed First All Around with Gold on Bars, Beam, and Floor, and Silver on Vault.
• Jillian Bates, Level 3 Age 12, placed First All Around with Gold on Bars and Beam, Silver on Vault, and Bronze on Floor.
• Analyse Chabot, Level 3 Age 11, placed First All Around with Gold on Beam and Floor, Silver on Bars, and Bronze on Vault.
• Kaitlyn Egerton, Level 3 Age 11, placed First All Around with Gold on Vault, Bars, and Floor, and Bronze on Beam.
• Emilie Wartman, Level 2 Age 9, placed First All Around with Gold on Bars, Silver on Floor, and Bronze on Beam.
• Charlotte Wilson, Level 1 Age 7/8, placed First All Around with Gold on Vault, Bars, Beam, and Floor.

Gymnasts finishing Second All Around in their category include: Madeleine Anderson, Natasha Ishmael, Michaela Libbey-Griffin, Sofie Staszak, and Livi Robertson.

• Madeleine Anderson, Level 4 Age 12, placed Second All Around with Gold on Floor and Silver on Beam.
• Michaela Libbey-Griffin, Level 3 Age 10, placed Second All Around with Gold on Floor and Silver on Vault and Bars.
• Natasha Ishmael, Level 2 Age 10, placed Second All Around with Gold on Bars and Beam, and Silver on Floor.
• Sofie Staszak, Level 2 Age 9, placed Second All Around with Gold on Bars, Silver on Floor, and Bronze on Beam.
• Livi Robertson, Level 2 Age 7/8, placed Second All Around with Gold on Bars, Silver on Beam and Bronze on Floor.

Gymnasts finishing Third All Around in their category include: Keira Wilson, Norah House, Mara Burtch-Clapp, Ava LeBlanc, and Madison Broome.

• Keira Wilson, Level 4 Age 11, placed Third All Around with Silver on Vault, Bars and Beam.
• Ava LeBlanc, Level 3 Age 10, placed Third All Around with Gold on Vault and Beam.
• Mara Burtch-Clapp, Level 2 Age 10, placed Third All Around with Golf on Bars, Silver on Vault, and Bronze on Floor.
• Norah House, Level 2 Age 10, placed Third All Around with Silver on Bars and Beam and Bronze on Vault.
• Madison Broome, Level 2 Age 9, placed Third All Around with Bronze on Bars and Beam.

• Keisha Anderson-Brown, Level 1 Age 9/10, with Bronze on Vault.
• Sophie Oliveira, Level 1 Age 7/8, with Silver on Beam.
• Emilia Liew, Level 1 Age 7/8, with Bronze on Vault.
