The Perfect Pair
Spend a night in with a virtual wine and cheese tasting hosted by Flight Cheese Shop. This online event will take place on Saturday, Feb. 12, 2022.
“Participants will receive a box of cheese, a $50 LCBO gift certificate and a list of wines to purchase,” explained Emma Sulley, owner, noting that the wines will be set aside at the Midland Avenue LCBO for pickup on either Friday, Feb. 11 or Saturday, Feb. 12. “With each ticket purchase, the participants will also get admission to the online event, where I’ll talk about the cheeses, wines, how to pair/taste them, and they’ll also be receiving a special Valentine’s Day Gift!”
Tickets for the virtual wine and cheese are available on Eventbrite, and Sulley said there is a no wine option as well.
Flight Cheese Shop also offers customized tasting and charcuterie boxes. Custom orders require at least 48 hours to prepare. Details on all their boxes, as well as their Valentine’s event are available on their website.
Delicious Dinner for Two
Celebrate Valentine’s Day with a five-course take-out tasting menu from Aquaterra. This delicious dinner includes Shrimp and Lobster Bisque, Fermented Blood Orange Salad, Skrei Cod, and Beef Striploin, followed by Molten Chocolate Lava Cake to complete the evening.

Make the evening even more special with locally made and designed add-on options. Orders must be placed by end of day Wednesday, Feb. 9,, 2022, and pickup will be between 12 p.m. and 5 p.m. February 10 through 14, at the AquaTerra hostess stand, inside the Delta Hotel at 1 Johnson Street.
